Terms of Service
Last updated June 5, 2026
These terms keep things clear between you and Motion. They're written to be read — short, specific, and free of surprises. By creating an account or buying a plan, you agree to them.
1. What Motion is
Motion is a subscription library of premium interactive web sections. Each section ships as a detailed prompt and specification file — enough to reproduce the section exactly in your own project. We sell access plans, not individual sections: every plan covers the whole gallery, including sections we ship after you join.
2. Your account
You can sign in with Google or with your email and a one-time PIN. Your account is yours alone — keep access to your email secure, and don’t share your account so others can copy specs through it. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account.
3. Plans and billing
- Monthly ($9/month) — a recurring subscription that lets you unlock up to 5distinct sections per billing period. The allowance refills on your renewal date. A section you’ve unlocked stays freely copyable until the period ends, then locks again. Cancel anytime from the billing portal; you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- Lifetime ($99 once) — a single payment for unlimited unlocks, forever, including every section we ship in the future.
- Studio ($249 once, when offered) — everything in Lifetime, plus a commercial license for client and paid work, usable across your team.
All payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. Stripe emails your receipts and invoices. If we ever change the Monthly price, the change applies from a future renewal and we’ll tell you first; a Lifetime or Studio purchase you’ve already made is never affected.
4. What your plan lets you do
Unlocking a section gives you a license to use it — not ownership of the underlying work. While your plan is active (or forever, on Lifetime and Studio):
- You may use the prompts and specs to build sections into websites and products that you own and operate, including commercial ones.
- Studio extends that license to client work, paid projects, and use across your team.
What no plan allows:
- Reselling, redistributing, republishing, or sharing the prompts or spec files themselves — publicly or privately, in whole or in part.
- Using the library to build or seed a competing collection.
- Circumventing the paywall, the monthly unlock metering, or scraping the gallery.
5. The gallery changes
We add sections deliberately, one at a time, and every plan includes new sections as they ship. Occasionally we may retire a section from the gallery; anything you’ve built with it is yours and stays yours.
6. Refunds
If something went wrong with a purchase — a double charge, a plan that didn’t activate, an honest mistake — email hello@motionin.designand we’ll sort it out. Refunds, when issued, are processed back through Stripe to your original payment method.
7. Disclaimer
Motion is provided as-is. The specs describe how each section is built; the result in your project depends on your implementation, your stack, and the tools you use. We don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, though we work hard to keep it both.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability to you is capped at the amount you’ve paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or the one-time price you paid, for Lifetime and Studio). We’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
9. Ending things
You can cancel a Monthly subscription anytime, and you can ask us to delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms — above all, sharing or reselling the specs.
10. Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, the new version is posted here with a fresh date. For material changes we’ll email account holders before the changes take effect.
